The magician gives a few cards to the spectator. The spectator puts these cards in his pocket. Then the magician spreads a few cards face up on the table. The spectator mentally selects one of the cards on the table. The card thought of by the spectator is now inexplicably found among the cards which were in the spectator's pocket.
