The Royal Bubbler
 
In Imperial India, luxury was a must. It reflected the wealth and power of the British rulers and Maharajas alike. Queen Victoria of Great Britain was very pleased with the title “Empress of India” which she received in 1876 as an honorary gift. Congratulations and presents were received at the Royal Palace from all over the world. One of the most unusual gifts, capturing the grandeur of the Raj, was a solid gold Bubbler pendant from the Maharaja of Kapurthala, Jagatjit Singh.
 
Our solid brass and copper pendant is handmade by descendants of the Indian goldsmiths working for Maharaja Jagatjit Singh. A whimsical toy for young and old, an interesting and unusual piece of fashion jewelry.
 
CONDITION NOTES:  Some tarnish from age, but overall in very nice condition
