A case is shown and examined and a solid slide is passed through center of case. The cut outs of case show that the slide passes entirely through case and slide. It is then fastened by a clip that goes entirely through the case and slide, and is bent down securely.
 
It can now be demonstrated that the slide can not be removed, but Viso-Presto, right before your eyes the magician removes the slide.
