Twelve cards are shown back and front and counted. Cards are held face down as one is selected by spectator. The packet of cards are now held in left hand as the chosen card is inserted among them.
 
The cards are now given an overhand shuffle and when re-counted face up, there are only 11 cards!  The selected card is not among them!
 
While cards are held in hand the missing card mysteriously rises from the packet of cards held upright in hand.
 
Card is removed and handed to spectator.
