Eagle Lock Company was founded in the 1800s and became one of the largest lock makers in the world.  The company operated until the 1970s before closing
 
CONDITION NOTES:  This piece shows noticeable wear consistent with age, but has been partially restored with care.
 
The original surface was left intact rather than sanded, preserving the nicks and dents that give it authentic vintage character. The hardware has been removed, cleaned, and polished. Pin nails on the internal metal slide have been secured, and the exterior has received light paint touch-up.
 
A solid, attractive piece that displays beautifully and remains suitable for performance.
