A silk handkerchief is placed across the performer’s hand, where it mysteriously begins to take on a life of its own. Slowly, it rises and stands upright, as if animated by an unseen force. After the display, the silk is removed and immediately handed out for examination, revealing nothing unusual—just an ordinary handkerchief and an empty hand.
