A spectator freely chooses one of several miniature cards and places it face up on top of a small envelope. The performer explains that the chosen card will mysteriously match a hidden prediction inside the envelope.
 
The envelope is opened and a miniature card is removed, but it appears to be the wrong card. Just when the audience thinks the trick has failed, the performer turns over the remaining miniature cards to reveal that all of their backs are different colors except one. The selected card is then turned over, showing that its back perfectly matches the prediction card from the envelope for a surprising double climax.
