Effect: A borrowed ring is threaded by the spectator on length of ribbon and fairly placed into the slot of a velvet lined plastic ring box. The cover is securely closed with the two ends of the doubled ribbon hanging down from the box.
 
The free ends of the ribbon with the box hanging from the other end is given to spectator to hold. Magician immediately moves an attractive oriental wand (Chinese letter opener) in front of the box and without opening the box the borrowed ring appears dangling on the cord suspended from the oriental wand.
