THE REVERSING CARD ROUTINE (With a Harry Stanley Touch)

Here is a most unusual card trick which can be worked right under the noses of spectators without the slightest hint as to how the magic is actually brought about. In addition it can be repeated immediately without further preparation and loses nothing in the repetition — in fact, the effect is strengthened.
 
Effect: The performer counts and shows ten cards. Taking them face down into his left hand, he fans them out into a neat fan, then turns every other card face up. Closing the fan, he snaps the cards with his finger or blows on them and fans them out again — they are all facing one way. He repeats the process of turning every other card face up, and asks a spectator to touch one of the face up cards. He removes the touched card and turns it face down in the fan. Then he has spectator blow on the cards, and this time, when he fans them out, all the cards are facing the same way except the card the spectator selected.

Condition Notes:  Overall in very nice condition. The envelope shows heavy storage and age wear, along with some writing. However, the cards and instructions remain in very good condition with minor age wear, making this a strong collectible and a practical piece for performance.
