Original P&L Vanishing Wand manufactured by the Petrie-Lewis Manufacturing Company of New Haven, Connecticut. This is the CHROME version of the classic mid-century magic effect.
 
A solid-looking black wand with chrome tips is wrapped inside a sheet of paper. The paper is then crushed, causing the full-size wand to vanish completely.
 
This vintage set includes the matching chrome-tipped wand, seven black wand shells, two prepared chrome-tip inserts and the original blue storage box. The box retains its original illustrated Petrie-Lewis label.
 
CONIDITION NOTES:  The wand components are in very good condition with some minor wear from age and previous use. The original box has considerable storage wear, including scuffs, finish loss, edge wear, staining and separation at the corners. No instructions are included.
