EFFECT: A classic utility prop with dozens of possible routines. The performer displays an ordinary drinking tumbler which can instantly collapse flat at any moment. The tumbler may vanish in a paper bag, disappear beneath a handkerchief, or even be caused to visibly collapse in the magician’s hands. In another routine, water is poured from a real tumbler into the trick tumbler, creating the illusion that the glass is completely solid before it suddenly vanishes.
