A metal disk is placed into a sliding holder that passes through a small case from one end to the other. Everything appears completely fair and the disk can move freely through the opening.
 
Next, a dagger is inserted through the hole in the center of the case, apparently blocking the disk's path. The audience can clearly see that the blade prevents the disk from passing through.
 
Then, impossibly, the disk begins to move. Slowly and mysteriously, it slides right through the solid dagger and continues on its way. The penetration happens in full view, creating a startling visual illusion that seems to defy the laws of physics.
