LUCKY LOOPS by MR LUCKY of BRAZIL
 
“LUCKY LOOPS” is one of the most unusual effects to come out in rope magic. We had the pleasure of seeing Charles Cagle, “Mr. Magic”, perform this act Chattanooga, Tennessee, recently. We are delighted to have obtained permission to offer this to our clientele.
 
THE EFFECT IS STARTLING AND UNUSUAL
A length of rope is shown, coiled around the hands. Rope is freely shown to be in one piece and devoid of knots. The ends of the rope are tied together. “That’s a logical way of tying knots”, says the magician, “this is the magical way”. Slowly, the rope is pulled from the hand and it is seen that four knots are now tied along the doubled rope. “That’s manipulation”, says the magician, “but how’s this for REAL magic”.
 
“KNOCKING THEM FOR A LOOP”
After having shown that all the knots are genuine, he begins to untie the end one – then surprise – the end piece of rope comes off AS A COMPLETE SEPARATE LOOP which can be tossed to a member of the audience to examine.
 
Again a knot is untied and again the piece of rope changes into a complete loop. THIS IS REPEATED UNTIL FOUR SEPARATE LOOPS OF ROPE HAVE BEEN MAGICALLY PRODUCED.
 
THE FINAL APPLAUSE CUE
“This leaves me with just a single length of rope, but how’s this”, asks the magician. He unties the knot on the length of rope which he’s left holding. He tosses the rope into the air. He catches this, displaying it between the hands. It’s too short – it has changed and become a large single loop!
 
EASY – YET BAFFLING
The trick is easy to do and most baffling in effect. Entirely self-contained. No pulls! Nothing to get rid of. No replacements to buy!
