Two plain black rods are shown — simple, unassuming, and identical.
 
Suddenly a brilliant diamond-like gem sparkles into existence on the end of one of the rods.
 
From there, the magic unfolds in a series of startling transformations:
The gem jumps from one rod to the other.
It vanishes from one end, only to reappear on the opposite side.
At your command, two gems now gleam where there was once only one.
The gems shift positions along the rods as if alive.
And finally, in a dramatic climax, the diamond transforms into a glowing ruby red gem!
