This book by Eddie Fields and Michael Schwartz explores a wide range of new routines and refinements for the famous Invisible Deck, including a contribution by Ed Marlo.
A spectator merely thinks of a card and returns it face up to a “well-shuffled” invisible deck, where all other cards are face down. The deck is placed briefly into a pocket, then removed and shown to be visible. The magician spreads through the cards and reveals that there is only one face-up card in the entire deck. It is the freely thought-of selection.
