Magician spreads an "invisible" deck and allows volunteer to choose one "invisible" card. The chosen card is returned to the "invisible" deck, and the magician gives the volunteer an "invisible" gun to "shoot" the card they chose.

Effect: Five cards are shown to the spectator with the request that he mentally select one card. Moving the cards about a bit, you finally remove one and place it in your pocket. Spectator now reveals his choice, and you remove that very card from your pocket, apparently having read his mind.
 
But now comes the “kicker.” The four remaining cards which have been in FULL VIEW of the audience all the time are now slowly turned over, and shown to be THE FOUR ACES.
