You will find that the apparatus consists of an open case with three holes in it and a set of stocks which have a stainless steel blade riveted between the ends. The stocks may be moved in the case freely. Unlike other models, the stocks of the Micky Hades IMPROVED FINGER CHOPPER are completely removable.
 
Please note that:
THE BLADE DOES NOT MOVE UP OR DOWN IN THE STOCKS.
YOU CAN SEE RIGHT DOWN INTO THE CASE WHICH IS DEVOID OF ANY MECHANICAL DEVICES. NOTHING IS THERE TO GIVE THE SECRET AWAY.
THERE ARE NO HIDDEN BUTTONS OR SPRINGS BUILT INTO THE STOCKS. THE ENTIRE DESIGN OF THE APPARATUS APPEARS TO BE SIMPLE AND INNOCENT.
 
YET:
Despite these facts you can push the blade right down to the bottom of the case while a spectator has his finger in the center hole! In this incredible demonstration the blade is rested ON TOP of the spectator's finger. Then you strike the stocks with your hand – the blade appears to go right through the spectators finger! The finger is not harmed and the SPECTATOR CANNOT REMOVE THE STOCKS WITHOUT FIRST REMOVING HIS FINGER FROM THE HOLE as the blade is now BELOW his finger.

THE APPARATUS IS LEFT IN THE SPECTATOR’S HANDS RIGHT AFTER THE DEMONSTRATION AND IT MAY BE THOROUGHLY EXAMINED BY HIM.  THE SPECTATOR WILL FIND NO CLUE AS TO HOW THIS AMAZING FEAT COULD HAVE BEEN ACCOMPLISHED!
