"THE FINAL ACE ROUTINE"
by Bro. John Hamman

This is not a single 4 Ace trick but a routine that builds as it progresses until there is absolutely no explaining the movements of the Aces. It appears like real magic to magician and layman alike. There are no phony moves as the magician repeats the effect again and again, each time being more open and fair than the last. At the finish, the spectator is forced to admit that he has seen real magic, as a real magician would do it, right before his very eyes.

EFFECT: Spectator examines 12 spot cards and the 4 Aces. The 4 Aces are openly spread out on the table and 3 cards are dealt on each. Yet, as fair as that is, the 4 Aces all appear in one pile.

While the spectator watches each move, the cards are laid out again. He is positively sure there is an Ace on the bottom of each pile. But when the performer shows him each card, the Aces seem to melt away and once again appear together in the 4th pile.

Trying to be even more open, Aces are shown front and back and undoubtedly placed on the table. Each indifferent card is also shown front and back and very openly placed on the Aces. Each pile is picked up and an Ace shown. The 3 spot cards are turned face up, leaving the Ace face down. Yet upon flipping over the face down Ace, they aren’t there! The 4 Aces are once more together in the 4th pile, which the performer has not touched since first showing all of the cards as he placed them there.

This is so impossible looking that it demands repetition. That is just what the performer does, only this time, after the spectator has placed his palm on the 4th pile, he definitely shows that the lone face down card in each pile is still really an Ace. Yet when it is flipped over a second later, it is not! Nor are any of the other spot cards. The spectator finds that the 4 Aces have somehow congregated under his hand.

CONDITION NOTES:  Overall in very good condition.
