This is a different type effect that gets you away from “card tricks.” Magi shows 4 cards. Three of them have pictures of top hats and the other a sexy rabbit. Magi puts one hat and the rabbit card facedown on the table. He tells how Gertrude can change the color of her costume and the hat to any color named by the audience. Unfortunately, he can’t do this “miracle” today… for Gertrude has left the act!!! He shows the Gertrude card is BLANK.
“This,” says the magician, “is a result of a wild Saturday night when we recently played a date in Kokomo, Indiana.” He turns over the other card and now a picture of Gert resting in a hospital bed… surrounded by lots of baby rabbits is seen. Sign over her head says MATERNITY.
YOU WILL NEVER FAIL TO GET A LAUGH ON THE PUNCH LINE.
After the laughs die down… you toss all the cards onto the table. Everything may be examined.
