EFFECT
A transparent glass is shown and a handkerchief placed inside. Paper is stretched over the mouth and secured with a rubber band, completely sealing it. Nevertheless, the magician instantly pulls the handkerchief out through the bottom of the glass.

Water can then be poured into the glass to demonstrate that its bottom is solid.
