Magician patters about confusion in the English language. Things can be whole and also contain holes.
 
The four cards supplied with this effect successively change. They are shown as whole white cards with a hole in their center, a card with numerous colored spots, a card all pink on its back, a card reading H-O-L-E and one with a large pink ring around the center hole.
 
The changes are all accomplished with a few easily performed sleights.
 
Condition Notes:  Some minor age-related wear, but the sets remain very usable.
