A novel and unusual pocket trick which you will derive a lot of fun out of; furthermore, you can repeat it at a different time to the same audience and the result is not the same.
Basically, it is just a 'Just Chance' routine but one with sex appeal.
The magician lays out before him four cards, each one represents a bedroom door. On each door appears the name of a young lady, - Mary, Susie, Jenny, Elaine.
He also shows four coloured plastic keys, - these are thrown into a bowl or placed onto a plate, and three spectators are each asked to assist you.
Each spectator is given a perfectly free choice of key, - they can change their mind if they wish; they leave one key remaining and one key only, and that key is the one which is for you.
Now you show the Hotel Guest List, explaining that the rooms are decorated in various colours, the Blue Room, the Red Room, the Yellow Room and the Pink Room, and each of the ladies is sleeping in one of these rooms, the Guest List will tell you exactly which.
The spectator holding, for instance, the red key, checks the list and finds this belongs to Jenny, his key is placed for a moment on the door. The next person has the yellow key and that is the key to Susie's bedroom. The pink key is the key to Mary's bedroom, and finally the blue one is yours and belongs to the door which will unlock the bedroom of Elaine. O.K., you are all-set then for the climax.
One by one the bedroom doors are opened. Behind each bedroom door there's a picture of a young lady. Well, in the case of Mary, Susie and Jenny they are 'not so young' ladies, the ladies are quite definitely past their prime! You open the door which has been left for you and you are the lucky one, for behind it is the glamorous Elaine.
The trick works every time, it's easy to do, and as we have explained you don't necessarily have to have the same girl as the glamorous one, - they can be interchanged. The whole plot can make for a lot of fun.
