Effect:
Magician shows spectator a sealed packet. On the back of this packet are the backs of four separate playing cards. Magician explains that on the inside of the packet is a strip showing the faces of the four separate playing cards. Magician writes down a prediction. The spectator is then asked to take the scissors and cut through the middle of any one of the playing card backs. (A line is drawn on the backs to help guide the scissors.) After the packet is cut into two pieces, each piece of the packet is opened to reveal a strip with one of the cards cut in half. At this time the magician reveals his written prediction. It is the same as the card that the spectator cut in half!
