A spectator is asked to select a card from a blue-backed deck. The card is replaced in the deck and lost. The spectator is then asked to play “detective” and search for clues to find the card. The deck is spread and there is now one red-backed card in the deck. Not only is this card the selected card, but it also has incriminating fingerprints all over its face.
