IT’S THE NUTS
 
The following routine is based on an original idea by Fin Jonn, which was marketed about 20 years ago. It was almost over before it started and the effect with most spectator's was lost. In it's original form, it could not be repeated.
 
The following routine is greatly improved and has a punch finish. Many people who know the original Fin Jonn effect, have been baffled by this routine. I do hope you will have as much fun with it as I have. Please spend time with the practice of it so you will know exactly what to do.
 
EFFECT:
A handkerchief is unfolded to expose a nut and bolt which are firmly screwed together. The nut and bolt are then covered and after waving the hand over the nut house, using the power of the mind, the cover is lifted showing that the nut has removed itself from the bolt. The Magician states that perhaps the audience thought that the nut was really not screwed on the bolt, or in some way, he exchanged one for the other. He screws the nut back on the bolt and invites a member of the audience to try and pull them apart. He asks a 'volunteer' to cover the nut and bolt, using the power of the mind and remove the cover - it has happened again!......At no time does the magician touch the nut and bolt, yet again he shows that the nut has removed itself. Both may be picked up for examination.
 
CONDITION NOTES:  There is a minor spot of discoloration on the handkerchief where the nut was in contact, but does not affect the performance of the illusion.
