A matchbox is removed from the pocket or one is taken from the table. The performer mentions the rare occurrence of a black match. At that moment, the drawer slowly creeps open and inside is seen one black match. The drawer opened completely as the match comes alive and jumps out onto the performer’s open palm. Just then, the match is brought in for a closer look and with the spectators eyes just three inches away from the match, it fades away into nothingness!
 
The magician is left completely clean at the end.
