The 1988 FISM World Championships of Magic were held in The Hague, Netherlands, bringing together top magicians from around the world during a peak era of innovation in close-up and stage magic. Known for its strong European influence, the convention showcased advancements in coin magic, apparatus design, and competition-level routines, with dealers and creators debuting new ideas to an international audience. It remains one of the more influential FISM gatherings of the decade, especially for close-up performers and collectors.

CONDITION NOTES:  The set appears complete aside from the reference of a bang ring for the locking coin.  The original foam padding deteriorated and only the velvet top was present, which was used as a template for replacing the foam to better secure and display the coins.  Additionally, the original booklet has been translated into English and will be included.  Coin condition varies, but all are in very good condition with just some minor wear from use and storage.  They have been cleaned to ensure smooth handling, especially the shells.
